Supporting Indie Authors
My name is Bill Leviathan, and I am beginning my journey as an indie self-published author. Hopefully it won't be a short one.
During my admittedly short experience as an indie author, I've realized how hard it is for us out there. You're doing everything on your own. The writing, obviously, but an indie author must also be their own marketer and publicist. When your work is out there in a sea of millions of other stories, it's hard to get noticed. If you're lucky enough to even have a potential reader browse over to your story's page, you may have the best written story in the world, with a great cover and an exciting book description, but if they see a "0" next to the number of reviews, that potential reader is likely to move onto something else. I want to help out other authors, give their work a chance, and post a review here, on Amazon, and wherever else they wish me to. My reviews will be honest. If it's a crap book, it will get a crap score. If it's a great book, it will get a great score.
